A Very Big Wedding Week For Same Sex Couples In Washington State! Celebrating Monica & Mary…

Such an exciting week for LOVE in Washington State, with marriage licenses available starting this Thursday, 12/6, and weddings to start on Sunday, December 9th.

For many months, Mary and Monica have been planning their wedding on Saturday, December 8th, at the Seattle Yacht Club. Little did they know that they would be getting married 7 hours before same sex marriage would be legal! 

So, we’re going for it!  I will have the honor of officiating their formal wedding ceremony as planned in front of 150+ family and friends at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday evening.  And at 12:01 a.m., on Sunday morning, I will officiate their legal wedding ceremony, making this inspiring and beautiful couple one of the very first same sex couples to be married in Washington State.
