I’m sitting here at my desk. It’s crazy cold outside. It’s icy, rainy and gosh knows what else.
And soon, all of this will shift into Spring and Summer.
As I sit here in the quiet of Winter, it’s with such a happy heart that I reflect back on the enormity of the 2022 season – it was challenging, coming out of the crazy of 2020 and 2021. Wedding season 2022 was beautiful, joy filled, complicated, easy, not easy. Weddings mirror life – the ever changing landscape of life, and the enormity of major life transitions
As I gaze into my looking glass for 2023, I am filled with great gratitude to be doing this work successfully and happily for almost 2 decades.
I didn’t choose this work, it chose me.
And with this, I appreciate how this work path offers me the opportunity to contribute and serve, and to also have so much darn fun – to meet people I would never meet in ordinary circumstances, and to play, enjoy, snatch fancy snacks and drinks, and give lots of hugs and love.
So, simply, bring on 2023, darlings!
